Next to the Costco is Rainey Park. We saw a nice sunset over Manhattan.

OMG!!!

In what is now my new favorite NYC celebrity sighting . . . I totally just saw Kate Winslet at Chelsea Market! She was at The Lobster Place with her son waiting on (what else?) an order of lobster. Naturally, I had to eat there so I got a very nice chowder.

Today's Sartorial Award . . .

. . . goes to this guy I saw on the subway on the way back from the awards ceremony.

I was asked to "make some remarks" and I knew I would be receiving the Academic Achievement Award and the Patricia Mallett Scholarship. The LSN Advisory Board Scholarship was a surprise.
